Rob Lowe: Life and Career

Rob Lowe was a crush for many gay guys back in the early 1980's thanks to his stunning good looks. His break out character was as Sodapop in the iconic 1983 film The Outsiders. Soon more roles would follow in such hit movies as: Oxford Blues, About Last Night, St. Elmo's Fire, Masquerade, Wayne's World and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.




By his late thirties he transitioned successfully to television. He achieved critical acclaim on the classic 90's political drama, The West Wing. Later he appeared as Senator Robert McCallister on the popular TV drama, Brothers & Sisters. The handsome actor continues to make hearts flutter.

FAMILY:
Rob is married to Sheryl Berkoff. He and his wife have two sons. Also, Rob's brother is the very talented Chad Lowe.
