Looking increasingly frail, the film actor, who starred as Butch Cassidy alongside Robert Redford’s Sundance Kid, is a shadow of his former self. He looked pale and thin, his clothes almost hanging off him. Newman finally retired from his beloved acting career last year. And he said: 'I've been doing it for 50 years. That's enough.
