Hey, Obama! How about asking George Clooney to be your vice-president?

There are rumours that Hollywood supertar George Clooney has been giving Barack Obama some political advice. Clooney, who supports Obama, says he's only spoken to him once over the phone in the past 18 months. Clooney's publicist released this statement:

"I have never texted or e-mailed Senator Obama. And I'll offer a million dollars to anyone who could prove otherwise. In fact, I've spent more time with Senator [John] McCain... than I have with Senator Obama... I would never be dumb enough to offer policy advice to either candidate. They seem to be doing fine without me."

Damn. I was hoping the rumours were true and that Obama was convincing Clooney to be his running-mate! Wouldn't they make a very handsome Democratic dream ticket?
