Jude Law as transsexual supermodel, Minx, in Sally Potter's new film "Rage"

Jude Law plays a transsexual in director Sally Potter's film, Rage. The film is described: "...as a bitterly funny exposé of the inner lives of individuals working at a New York fashion house – as if shot by a schoolboy on his cellphone camera - over seven days in which an accident on the runway becomes a murder investigation." Besides Law, the cast includes: Judi Dench, John Leguizamo, Steve Buscemi, Bob Balaban, Dianne Wiest and Eddie Izzard.

"Going glam wasn't easy," Law admitted to People at the film’s premiere at The Box, a cabaret theater in Manhattan. "On the first day, it took a few hours because I had to remove all my hair," he says. "I'm a bit of a coward. I didn’t go for the waxing. I just shaved it." Wasn't that awfully itchy? "When it grew back."

Rage has the distinction of being the world's first feature film to debut on mobile phones. The filmmakers have partnered with Babelgum for a revolutionary release strategy, which has the movie simultaneously available on mobile, online, digital screens and DVD.

The film premiered at the 2009 Berlin International Film Festival and was nominated for the Golden Berlin Bear.

The DVD was also released on September 22nd in the US.
