California Musical Theatre's artistic director, Scott Eckern quits in fallout from his support of Prop. 8

I can't believe this guy is expressing shock that gays are upset with him for donating money to support Prop 8. He's an artistic director in musical theatre! He has a lesbian sister! He must know many gay people! Why would he deny them the same civil rights that straight people enjoy everyday? Unbelievable.

California Musical Theatre's artistic director, Scott Eckern (pictured), resigned from his post today amid controversy over a donation he made to the Proposition 8 campaign to ban gay marriage.
