Ted Rybka, GLAAD's Director of Sports Media, contacted Stanford University coach Jim Harbaugh (pictured) about his purported use of an anti-gay slur during a recent football game. A video of Harbaugh was posted on YouTube in which he appeared to be swearing. Unfortunately, the audio is muted and you can't tell for certain what he said. Harbough telephoned Ted Rybka and admits to cursing but denies saying the word, f***ot.“It did not come out of my mouth. It would not come out of my mouth. It’s not in my heart to ever say that” said Harbaugh.
Stanford University will be releasing a statement tomorrow denouncing the video, reports GLAAD.
