Timothy Olyphant gives acting tips to Conan O'Brien (funny video)

My first introduction to Timothy Olyphant was the 2000 gay relationship film, "The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy." It was a fun movie written and directed by Greg Berlanti. It had a terrific cast: Ben Weber, Matt McGrath, Zach Braff, Dean Cain, Andrew Keegan, Billy Porter and John Mahoney. Olyphant was great in it. Since then he has gone on to appear in numerous other popular movies such as "Go", "Gone In Sixty Seconds" and "Live Free or Die Hard." His biggest success, however, has been on the small screen in TV series such as "Deadwood", "Justified" and "Damages."

In this recent interview from The Conan O'Brien Show, Olyphant is charming and offers to demonstrate acting tips to Conan! The first lesson, according to Olyphant is to score free clothes whenever possible! I laughed hard when Olyphant shared with Conan that he gets his underwear from The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Conan couldn't believe it, asking his audience if they were aware that Ellen gives her guests underwear!

Timothy Olyphant and Chris Wiehl in a scene from, "The Broken Hearts Club"

The second clip is a scene from "The Broken Hearts Club" featuring Timothy Olyphant and co-star Chris Wiehl. It's a romantic interlude that suddenly turns awry. My favorite line is when Olyphant asks if Wiehl likes 70's pop duo, "The Carpenters." The answer is a deal breaker!
